Alefiya Asghar is a third-year business student BBA student at the Schulich School of Business and is serving as YMA’s VP of HR this year. She plans on pursuing a specialization in marketing and business analytics. She has a background in both social media and CPG environments and enjoys working in the FMCG space.

Brought up in Dubai, Alefiya loves the sun so she’ll never miss an opportunity to explore the outdoors when the weather is warm and toasty outside. Alefiya cannot resist good food and is always on the hunt for Toronto’s best eats; she’s even got a food blog! Alefiya truly believes in giving her 100% in whatever she puts her mind to and is ecstatic to continue her YMA journey.
